The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians’ Four Winds® Casinos are pleased to announce upcoming events to celebrate the holidays.
Beginning November 23, guests visiting Four Winds New Buffalo® can see an oversized Gingerbread Village in the casino’s Rotunda. Construction on this classic Bavarian Village has started and will be made up of 13 houses and businesses. When displayed, it will consist of a half-ton of gingerbread, roughly 300 pounds of royal icing, over 300 pounds of chocolate and decorated with 18 varieties of candy.
“The Gingerbread Village will take us 200 hours to complete over the course of a month,” said Jennifer Lasiewicz, Vice President of Food and Beverage at Four Winds Casinos. “The Village’s construction is being spearheaded by our culinary and facilities teams. Our talented pastry staff has been broken up into teams of two; each team decorating a house; with a little friendly competition being judged by the members of the Food & Beverage executive team. This is a fun way for our team to show off their skills for the benefit of our guests.”
Entertainment for the holidays includes a performance by the aerobatics production Cirque Dreams Holidaze at 9 p.m. on Saturday, December 16 and at 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 17. This critically acclaimed holiday stage extravaganza is a cirque spectacle, Broadway musical, and family show combined.
Four Winds’ holiday events culminate with a Christmas Day buffet and a New Year’s Celebration December 29-January 1. Throughout the weekend, all three Four Winds® locations will be transformed into one big party with entertainment and party favors, cash and prizes totaling $255,000. Highlights include:
• Monday, December 25
Christmas Day Buffet. Guests can take part in a special holiday, day-long seafood buffet featuring all-you-can-eat shrimp and slow-roasted prime rib, plus traditional buffet favorites and holiday desserts. 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Prices: age 13 & older--$44; age 4-12--$21; age 3 & under—free.

At 1 a.m., one guest will win $20,000; at 2 a.m., one guest will win $10,000; and at 3 a.m., one guest will win $5,000.
Four Winds Hartford and Four Winds Dowagiac: $40,000 Celebration Cash & Compass giveaway from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., and at 1 a.m. Each hour at 4 p.m., 5 p.m., 6 p.m., 7 p.m., and 9 p.m., one guest will win $500 in cash. A grand prize 2018 Jeep Compass will be given away at 8 p.m. At 10 p.m., one guest will win $1,000 in cash. At 1 a.m., one guest will win $2,500 in cash.
New Year’s Eve Feast: Guests can indulge in a lavish selection of entrees from around the world including lobster specials, crab legs, prime rib and other traditional buffet favorites. Four Winds New Buffalo: $50,000 New Year, New Cash giveaway from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Each hour at 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 5 p.m. and 6 p.m., five guests will each win $1,000 in cash. At 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., two guests will each win $5,000 in cash. At 8 p.m., one guest will win $10,000 in cash.
Four Winds Hartford and Four Winds Dowagiac: $40,000 New Year, New Jeep Compass giveaway from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Each hour from 2–6 p.m., one guest will win $500 in cash. At 7 p.m., one guest will win $1,000 in cash. A grand prize 2018 Jeep Compass will be given away at 8 p.m. Then, at 9 p.m., a W♣Players Club member will win $2,500 in cash.
